Description
On November 11th, I got invited to to photography this city, with my friend and his father. I jumped on the invite, I haven't really photographed much of the city.
First, I went to St. Boniface Cathedral. It's a Winnipeg landmark, and one of the strangest buildings here, considering it has a big hole and it's not really a building anymore (as seen here: [link]). This structure, the best example of French Romanesque architecture in Manitoba, was ravaged by fire on July 22, 1968.
It's ruins are open, in which they built a smaller building inside of the ruins. The bells still work.
This photo is from one of the entrances, looking up, the blue light shines down on you.
